ORIANA RESIDENCY | SURAT
This project marked the beginning of our journey with Essajees Atelier. Until then, we had collaborated on a few homes where we styled select furnishings like cushions and bedding. This was the first opportunity where we were entrusted with designing the complete soft furnishings for an entire home and we gave it everything we had.
Every space was thoughtfully curated to feel distinct, ensuring that the drapes, bedding, and every layer of fabric complemented the interiors while bringing out the best version of each room. Our focus was never just on creating beautiful products, but on making every space feel complete.
What made this project truly unforgettable was the handover. Witnessing the clients experience their home for the first time, hearing the story behind the journey, and seeing their genuine surprise and emotions unfold is something no photograph can capture. Being appreciated for the countless hours of thought, design, and craftsmanship that go into a home is one of the most gratifying feelings we have experienced.

LIVING room
A double-height space deserves drapes that enhance its scale without overwhelming it. Our dual-tone neutral palette adds warmth and elegance, seamlessly tying together every element in the room.
SHREYA’S ROOM
Pushing boundaries, we introduced leather to the lower half of the drapes a detail that was as challenging as it was rewarding. Paired with textured bedding and woven detailing, the room came together with warmth, character, and a playful charm, beautifully completed by the statement swing.
MASTER ROOM
Generous in scale, this bedroom felt every bit like a luxurious master suite. We designed a striking blue embroidered border on the drapes that beautifully echoed the headboard, while a handwoven smocking-textured bed runner and layers of cushions added depth, drama, and a beautifully curated finish.
TANISHA’S BEDROOM
We instantly fell in love with the blue backdrop and the patterned walk-in tiles—they gave the room a relaxed, bohemian charm. We complemented the space with drapes finished with soft tassels and a handcrafted thread tieback, while the bed was layered with a bespoke woven runner and cushions featuring varied thread stitch techniques. It was these thoughtful little details that came together to make this space feel truly complete.
